Advocating for Paternal Inclusion

In Australia men report very low levels of engagement, information provision and support across the pathway to fatherhood. The results of the Plus Paternal, Australian Government survey of 367 health professionals and 160 fathers found the Australian reproductive health care system was “not keeping pace with the changing concepts of modern fatherhood” (Healthy Male, 2020).

The PREPARE Foundation will raise awareness of paternal challenges and the wider social impacts associated with paternal exclusion from the reproductive health system.
